With interactive dashboards and intuitive drill-downs, supervisors and engineers can quickly see where WIP is accumulating, how stable the process is, and which steps are slowing flow. The app combines current status with historical data, helping you keep WIP levels under control, reduce lead times, and improve overall productivity.
The Area Breakdown view provides a focused look at WIP metrics within a specific production area. It aggregates key indicators such as total WIP, queued, in-process, processed, on-hold, and rework quantities, allowing users to compare how different products behave within the same area.
By presenting these values in a structured breakdown, the view helps users understand how WIP is distributed across products at area level and identify differences in processing states without leaving the area context.
The Facility Breakdown view offers a consolidated overview of WIP across the entire manufacturing hub. It groups WIP data by product groups and products, displaying key metrics such as total WIP, queued, in-process, processed, on-hold, and rework quantities for each major production area.
This view allows users to compare WIP levels across areas and product groups in a single table, supporting a high-level understanding of how work is distributed throughout the facility.
The Production Overview presents a summary of WIP status and production volume for the selected facility or area. It includes total instant WIP, queued WIP, in-process WIP, processed WIP, and cumulative volume for the selected time period.
By combining current WIP indicators with volume-related metrics, this view gives users a snapshot of overall production activity and material status at a given point in time.
The WIP Heatmap visualizes WIP levels across products and time using a color-coded matrix. Each cell represents the amount of WIP for a specific product and time interval, making variations and concentrations immediately visible.
This visualization helps users quickly spot periods or products with higher WIP accumulation by scanning color intensity, without needing to interpret individual numeric values.
The WIP Distribution view shows how WIP is split across different processing states, such as queued, in process, and processed, for selected areas or steps. Summary KPIs (for example, mean WIP, mean queued WIP, WIP on hold, and WIP in rework) are displayed alongside stacked bar charts.
This view allows users to understand how WIP is currently distributed between states and compare relative proportions across steps in a clear, visual way.
The WIP Trend view displays how WIP evolves over time using trend charts. It shows changes in WIP levels across different areas or steps over the selected period, with separate trend lines or stacked areas for each category.
By visualizing historical WIP evolution, this view enables users to observe patterns and variations in WIP over time using a continuous timeline.
