Critical Manufacturing sponsors Agile Portugal 2015
March 02, 2015
It is already the 6th edition of this international conference about Agile Software Development and its practices, technologies, attitudes and experiences.
Created by practitioners for practitioners, Agile Portugal 2015 gathers the agile community with invited leading experts - this year’s already confirmed first two speakers are Emily Bache and Lachlan Heasman.
Agile methods strive to deliver business value early in the project lifetime and to adapt to changing requirements. They leverage the use of “high-bandwidth” and informal communication, supporting the human side of software development while delivering running, tested systems.
Critical Manufacturing has promoted the internal usage of agile methodologies since its foundation in 2009 and has attended the event since 2010, being an official sponsor for the third time this year.
The conference is a collaborative effort of several agile enthusiasts and practitioners from academy and industry.
Teresa Carreiro, Critical Manufacturing’s Operations Director and Agile enthusiast, belongs to the steering committee of the event, that will take place at Casa Diocesana do Seminário de Vilar in Porto, on 22-23 May, 2015.
