Critical Manufacturing at Gartner’s top MES list

Critical Manufacturing is listed amongst the top 33 MES providers in the latest independent Gartner report, published this August. Entitled “Vendor Guide for Manufacturing Execution Systems, 2012”, Gartner’s report recommends: “consider MES vendors that offer more than just a point solution” and to “use this vendor directory as a starting point for identifying MES solution candidates”.
Listing Critical Manufacturing and its MES, cmNavigo for the first time in a Gartner report, Research VP Simon Jacobson says that “[...] Critical Manufacturing’s MES application, cmNavigo, is built completely on the Microsoft stack, including a Web-based, rich internet application (RIA) graphical user interface based on Silverlight. It’s available in specific configurations for semiconductor, solar, electronics and medical device production. Critical Manufacturing’s cmNavigo has capabilities for WIP visibility and traceability, equipment integration and management, maintenance management, quality management, and enterprise system integration. It also has integrated OI capabilities delivered through end-user-specific dashboard construction and configuration capabilities. Version 3.5 has enhanced functionality for managing equipment recipes and operator certifications.”
