Teresa Carreiro is an invited speaker at Agile Portugal 2012, together with “agile” experts like Peter Sommerlad or David West.
Teresa will present “Scrum at Critical Manufacturing”. This talk will focus on the 2 main challenges that the company faced in these 3 years of Scrum usage: How to create a state-of-the-art complex product using a new methodology and deliver it fast? How to use Scrum in the maintenance of applications whose customers are used to work in a Waterfall fashion?
Agile Portugal 2012 is the third edition of an annual international event gathering the agile community with invited leading experts. In addition to the conference, gatherings, meet-ups, and additional meetings are organized within this event.
Teresa is co-founder and Operations and Quality Manager of Critical Manufacturing. Beyond her daily duties, she also promotes the usage of Scrum within the company, performing Scrum trainings for the teams and the customers, facilitating continuous improvement through experience sharing and promoting agile events.
